How much work is expected of me during the design day?
I ask that my clients are available for semi-consistent conversation throughout the day. There are key points in the day that I will outline as the most important to be available for, but mostly it will be approving design choices and providing feedback quickly. I do ask that the response time for each feedback/approval request is no longer than 30 minutes so that we do not experience any delays during the process. It's a fast paced day, but then it's done.
What do I need to prep before our day together?
After you have completed your contract and paid your deposit, I will send over the onboarding materials. This includes access to your own deliverables portal, where you will upload all your pre-existing branding and photos and will complete a branding and copy questionnaire.
It is imperative that these items are all uploaded and completed at least 48 hours before our Design Day is Scheduled. The sooner you can complete them the better. They should take you about 1 hour for each of the questionnaires.
What can I expect to have at the end of our day together?
By the end of our time together, you will have a fully functioning customized website!! This will include basic branding, or brand refining if you had existing branding you wanted to keep, 4-5 customized pages depending on the template you have selected, and your website will be connected to your domain and published.
You will be ready to share your site with the world just HOURS after we get started, taking away the "scope creep" or project overwhelm that we so often feel with big custom website projects.
